Fast so wie im Geheimdienst Ihrer Majestät kommt eine neue E.P. von A THOUSAND VOWS Anfang 2021 mit der Katalognummer Samplefriends007 um die Ecke.

Auf „Wiedergeburt eines Kristalls“ wird natürlich wieder alles gesampled und gefieldrecorded was nicht niet-, nagel- und sturmfest ist. Hauptaugenmerk liegt hier auf einer alten Akkustikgitarre, irgendwo verlassen gefunden, wieder aufbereitet und bearbeitet.

Hier gibt es fünf neue Songs – zum Teil episch, aber immer hochmelodiös – die an die Single „Urlaub in der Wüste“ anknüpfen, die 2013 auf dem schwedischen Label Mareld erschien. Wer gut zuhört, kann ein Fünkchen Nine Inch Nails raushören – natürlich nur davon inspiriert, nicht gesampled.

Ansonsten wie immer viel Fläche, Summs & Brumms, handgespielte Instrumente und eine Prise kristalline Spiritualität.
